Course Overview

This course is designed for developers, programmers, and system analysts who need to provide information and Business Intelligence for strategic Management. SAP Crystal Reports is a powerful tool that can be used to generate reports for any kind of database and Enterprise Resource Planning. In this course, participants will learn how to create Master Detail reports to represent clients and products sold to each one, Cross Tab reports for Business Intelligence, and Sub-Reports to drill down data from general information to specific data. Lesson One will cover linking tables of a database, creating Master Detail reports, calculating formulas for Master Detail reports, grouping fields to display data, and creating charts of group fields. Lesson Two will focus on totaling fields, grouping by criteria, and sorting control for the user. Lesson Three will cover using the Select Expert to display data with defined criteria, creating advanced charts to display drill-down data, and passing user parameters to the Select Expert. Lesson Four will cover creating Cross Tab reports, Cross Tab charts, including formula fields in a Cross Tab report, and using user-defined parameters to drill down details on Cross Tab Reports. Finally, Lesson Five will cover creating Sub-Reports and linking Sub-Reports to print drill down details in a Master Detail relationship.
